Diving
With its warm water, extensive coral reefs and abundant marine life, Bali offers excellent diving and snorkeling possibilities. Situated in the Indo-Pacific, the world’s richest marine zone, Bali receives very plankton-rich waters and so contains a stunningly diverse underwater ecosystem with diving to suit everyone.
Ombak Bagus works together with AquaMarine diving, a British owned and managed company with international standards. They only offer Bali’s best dive locations; Nusa Penida/Lembongan (Sunfish/Manta rays/reef sharks), Tulamben/Amed (shipwreck/bigeyed Travelly fish/coral reefs), Padangbai/Candidasa (sharks/Cuttle fish/coral walls), Menjangan island (coral walls/Barracudas/turtles) and Secret Bay (muck diving/rare marine species). If you don’t have your certificate, you can do an introduction dive (at Tulamben shipwreck!) or get your Open Water Diver licence in only 4 days (including theory/swimming pool practice/4 dives).
Daytrips start from 85 US dollars, depending on the diving destination. Please use the contact form at the left side of the screen for more prices and reservations. Included is transportation, 2 dives, all equipment, lunch and drinks.

After breakfast you’re off on a mountain bike through the heartlands of Bali, travelling downhill , taken secret back roads and minor village roads (with no traffic). Experience typical Balinese daily life and enjoy the beautiful Balinese countryside. The tour is educational as well as the experienced guides take you to visit a Balinese family compound, a Balinese plantation, a village temple and an enormous Banyan tree. You also go for a short walk in the rice paddies to see villagers harvesting the rice (you can also join in!). Optional is an uphill ride to the restaurant where you have an authentic Balinese lunch (including the famous smoked duck). But an extra flat ride is also possible for the less athletic ones. After lunch you have an optional visit to the Ubud Monkey forest. This is not only a cycle tour but also a true cultural experience. A must do when you’re on Bali, recommended!
